ProFootballTalk is reporting that players who are signed by UFL teams cannot return to the NFL until November 28, 2009, which is the end of the UFL season. The contract for players also bans "dangerous" activities.
Some activities include; mountain biking, snow skiing, kyacking, canoeing, whitewater rafting, spulunking, bating, bike racing and and other "dangerous" sport. If it were me trying to get on with a football team, I would say forget it.
As some of you might know I am an avid mountain biker, so this rule makes me kind of upsetr about the UFL's standards. Florio wrote mountain biking was "as distinguished from bicycling on a bicycle path or road or other regular surface". Let me sulk for a while.
